UGC NET June Re-Exam Cut Off 2026
The UGC NET June Re-Exam Cut Off 2026 is an important part of the result process.
NTA has published subject/category-wise cut-off information for the June 2026 examination. Candidates should check the official cut-off notice instead of relying only on expected cut-off marks published by coaching websites or social media pages.
The cut-off can vary according to the subject, category and qualification category.
The official cut-off information includes different categories and qualification outcomes such as JRF, Assistant Professor and Ph.D.-only, wherever applicable.
Candidates should therefore check the cut-off corresponding to their own subject and category.
UGC NET Subject Wise Cut Off 2026
The UGC NET cut-off is published subject-wise and category-wise.
Candidates from English, Commerce and Sociology should particularly check the cut-off applicable to their respective subject.
The official cut-off document contains information for categories including:
- Unreserved
- OBC-NCL
- EWS
- SC
- ST
- PwD/PwBD categories
- Other applicable categories
The cut-off marks should be checked directly from the official NTA document because different subjects can have different cut-off marks.
UGC NET Merit List 2026
The UGC NET selection and qualification process is based on the examination result, applicable eligibility rules, category and subject-wise requirements.
Candidates who qualify for JRF or Assistant Professor eligibility should carefully read the official instructions issued by NTA and UGC.
The result/scorecard should not be confused with an appointment letter. UGC NET qualification establishes eligibility under the applicable rules, while subsequent academic or employment opportunities depend on the requirements of the concerned institution or organization.
Candidates qualifying for different categories should retain their scorecard and other relevant documents safely.
UGC NET Final Answer Key 2026
NTA has also published the final answer key for the UGC NET June 2026 re-examination conducted for English, Commerce and Sociology.
The final answer key is important because the result is prepared using the finalized answers after consideration of the answer-key challenge process.
Candidates who appeared in the re-examination can compare their responses with the final answer key for their respective subject.
The final answer key should be considered more authoritative than unofficial answer keys circulated on social media or coaching platforms.
